How the set helps

Babies are born with delicate ears. Prominent ears, Stahl’s ear, conchal bowl deformity or prominent earlobes can appear early. The CranioWell baby ear corrector set gently guides the ear toward a more natural shape.

Cartilage is most moldable in the first weeks after birth, so assessment should not be delayed once a deformity is noticed. Application and follow-up are always physician-led.

  • Early start matters

Ear cartilage hardens quickly after birth. The best window is planned after an early clinical assessment.

  • Physician application

The set is placed and followed only by treating physicians. Parents can find the nearest doctor in our directory.

  • Turkish R&D

Developed at our Hacettepe Teknokent R&D center in Ankara; Turkish Patent protected, UTS and EUDAMED registered.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the ear corrector set work?

The set gently guides the baby’s ear cartilage toward a more natural shape in the early weeks. Moldability is highest in the first month; with the right starting age the process is non-surgical.

Who applies the set?

The CranioWell baby ear corrector set is applied only by physicians — typically pediatrics, ENT, family medicine or plastic surgery. Find the nearest treating physician on our doctors page.

When should treatment start?

Because cartilage hardens quickly after birth, assessment should happen as soon as a deformity is noticed. Earlier starts are generally preferred when clinically appropriate.

Is this the same as helmet therapy?

No. The ear set is for ear shape; the HKM Pro helmet is for head shape. Helmets are applied only at CranioWell Orthotics & Prosthetics Centers; the ear set is applied by treating physicians.

Do you train physicians?

Yes. Physicians interested in hands-on or online training for baby ear molding can contact us.
