Although helmet therapy has been successful in the treatment of positional head deformities (  plagiocephaly/brachycephaly ) for many years, the treatment is not covered by the statutory health insurance policy. SGK does not cover this treatment.

Some private health insurance companies accept full or partial coverage of helmet treatment for children with asymmetry.

We will carefully prepare and forward to you the documents, materials and measurement data you request from us so that your health insurance will cover the cost of helmet treatment.
